Released Atlanto 1.02.3.4

There is absolutely no chance the developer is going to update this mod. It's abandonware. Also you committed the extremely common sin of bumping old threads. Everyone on forums knows about this deadly sin, and nobody likes it.

 

Im hoping for an update or any suggestions on other haunted maps, I liked the theme a lot when I played it

Its an old thread yes. Also the only ghost map I know of? Yes.

 

Personally I don't know of any "haunted" maps per say but there are definitely maps with spooky or eerie elements/easter eggs that make them fun. A good example would be the Area 51 map, that was cool, had a UFO easter egg and some greys if I remember correctly. There was also Fujigoko, which was a Japanese map of mount Fuji. Lot of fun, I actually got jumpscared on that map quite a bit (there's a scary ghost lady who floats around in the bamboo forest). There's also the vanilla maps, like Utah, which has a spooky mine that you can drive through, nothin spooky in it tho. There's also Night Drive, which, no longer exists on the website but I'd love to send it to you as a file, but that has some spooky elements to it. I can't remember many more off the top of my head. Like, I can, but I don't know their names. But there's a good handful of maps with spooky elements to them, most of which, though, are unfortunately either outdated or completely abandoned. I also enjoy spooky haunted maps though and I wish people made more. They have an atmosphere especially with Beam that is hard to describe. Kinda liminal almost.

As for maps that aren't "haunted" but still spooky Lost Paradise is a great map. Abandoned island, lots of overgrown trees and grass. Feels like a zombie apocalypse. There's also Abandoned East Coast which is exactly what it sounds like. Pretty detailed, fun to drive around in, and is pretty spooky when you set the time to midnight. I'll update this post if I can think of more maps for you. But there's a good handful of maps that are just generally creepy or intentionally so. Mostly due to the atmosphere Beam already has which is that almost GMod like atmosphere where everything just feels off.

 

Saw a video on night drive, i would definitely love to check that out. I do like Fujigoku, and I'll check out the Abandoned East Coast map too! Thx btw

For the Abandoned East Coast Map an Offroader or Cars with higher Suspension are recommended since it has alot of pretty nasty Bumps

Yea, that's how it be. But I did try to turn the bump into a constructive bump at least in some ways.

 

Hi when is the owner of the map gonna update it and if the owner of the map doesn't updates it could someone make a map similar to this and ad the ghost car and jumpscares etc Into it like when a player is speeding very fast a jumpscares could happen causing the driver to loose control over their vehicle and causing them to crash

Yes it is but it's broken it doesn't show in the game but on the beamng website is it possible for someone to remake it though?

 

That would take a lot of time, and permission from the map maker

No, too much work and this is not what I want to do on BeamNG.

 

Yeah okay hopefully someone makes a similar map to antlanto but WAY more scary I'm talking about jump scares scary images that pop up on the screen scary sounds scary Easter eggs and a ghost car that appears but when the user crashed into the ghost car a scary image pops up
