You must also have reshade installed.

 

Make sure you're dropping the files where the actual .exe is. There are several ones in the game's folder...

 

I'm getting a crash at the startup 0x0000001

 

Did you try uninstalling?

 

Uninstalling BeamNG or the visual enhancement?

 

ReShade... If you uninstall the game it won't open either.

If I uninstall reshade the game starts normally, maybe I'm installing it the wrong way, first I install reshade than I install your visual enhancement.

 

What do you call visual enhancement?

In any case, try disabling any overlay applications like MSI Afterburner.

 

OK, I fixed it, turned out that I have chosen wrong renderer API.

It was working for a while, but I got a crash and now I'm getting this: BeamNG.drive 0.23.5.2 0xC0000142 STATUS_DLL_INIT_FAILED

 

i love it my only issue though is this. The smoke like highlights edges

and the fact theres no water spashes. other than that its awesome ilove it

 

For me the file dxgi.dll causes crash at startup, when I delete it the FXAA effect won't load.

 

YOU ARE NOT FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS. Can you please undo everything you have done until now and just follow the instructions? Nowhere do I say to install the latest version of ReShade! Also, without that file ReShade won't work, it's the core file! And no FXAA on my preset! Read the instructions! It's one step!

You have conflicting mods or other issues. Deactivate them first.

 

it doesnt work. when i press shift and f2 it says none of the reshades are able to load.

nevermind i just realized that i had to delete reshade

 

I am so sorry for bump but i just dont understand how to do the reshade part, i did download it and used the cessnis30.ini but i cant see any difference.. I think i dont have all the fx installed but i installed all of the available ones so that doesnt make any sense.

 

doesn't work anymore. game boots up with a blank white screen and then crashes 2 seconds after

The first message was last edited way back in September, and through September and now there have been multiple game updates. There might be something else that is actually the thing crashing your game, but at the same time it might be the better texture mods that are required for this. I just recommend you use either of these 2 reshades instead, they don't require any other mods and are easy to install.

Hey guys, I installed the reshade and it didn't make any difference. In the reshade menu everything's unticked, and it gives me this message: Unable to save current preset. Make sure you have write permissions to C:/ProgramFiles (x86)/Steam//steamapps/common/beamng.drive/Bin64/cessni's 3.0.ini

 

Which one of these 3 is the most recent?

 

Probably cessni30, however judging by the previous comments, it might not work
