Well, to me the difference is pretty huge. I used to have a 19" 720p screen, then I switched to a 24" 1080p screen. In 720p it just looks somehow kinda dumb, the UI is too big and blurry, and the game looks blurry in general, ins't really as sharp as I would like. The size of the monitor probably have alot to do too. On my old screen both screenshots looks basically the same. Though I guess if you play on 720p, but not in fullscreen, it's probably fine. Here's in 1080p (High) And 720p (High too) though keep in mind : Though it doesn't show much on screenshots My FPS on Wcusa aren't really stable, but in general I get about 45fps, here for some reasons it's 35. Between 720p and 1080p there's still a 10fps difference. My FPS between medium and high are basically the same. Specs : -i5-4460 -Sapphire 7950 -16gb ddr3
Enjoying the view on Jungle Rock Island. Aerial shot of a tractor and a dragster holding a pulling contest on a bridge. Ah, but your eyes are still fresh, I have so heavy anti aliasing within my eyes than from 1 meter from my 27" 1080p monitor I can't tell which resolution I'm running, my reading glasses are +4.0 and I can't see pixels from this monitor without them, have to look really close too then, that is the problem when you look the world from the 60's to these days, can't see a thing anymore. I finally got around to test WCUSA in a way that it can be compared to other maps: https://www.beamng.com/threads/your-performance-testing-results.37866/page-4#post-771537 Testing methods and other maps etc. https://www.beamng.com/threads/your-performance-testing-results.37866/ I can keep constant 60fps with my settings, but barely, WCUSA is only map where I find my GPU needing little bit of boost, usually it is CPU that faces single core performance limits and fps drops below 60fps, but on this map fast GPU is needed to keep over 60fps which again is needed to have FFB working as it is designed to. Redwood forest is FPS hog, every time looking to that general direction eats my FPS and lowest FPS at beginning and at the end are on that forest road:
