You should be able to do whatever you want with a mod you've downloaded so long as you don't upload it I don't really see how this is an issue lol
This may be my last post for a while, I have had a terrible incident happen. The top of my Middle finger has gotten cut clean off so I may be off the forums for a while for surgeries.
Shouldn't you be resting it or something other than continuing to post on the forums, not trying to say it didn't happen or anything btw. Anyways, hope you recover soon. OT:
Yeah Its totally realistic to be active in the forums with a heavy injury but if its real, I hope you have a fast recovery OT:
A, the etk does have a unused v12 ill post a image later. B, I have no plans to do anything with the mod, I only want to learn by using that mod. C, yes, that was a literal sense of his words, a literal example is making a delorean v6 engine swap for the civetta bolide, that constitutes as modifying the mod since you took the engine and making work for a different car. Adding to the delorean mod doesn't count but the usage of Lucas assets to add it does. Clearly I don't have the experience or skill to do anything, but that doesn't mean anyone should be stopped do it, at least publicly This I 100% agree and I should had worded my comment to be like this. But nobody should be stopped for adding onto the mod. I also agree with this as well Long story short: nobody should be stopped for making an addition to a mod (like how anyone can mod their own cars) or even fixing a bug (like how anyone can repair a car). But the use of Lucas's assets to add it in is wrong, even if you enable it. OT: no pic
My Default: ETK A series Vr5 Touge run: --- Post updated --- Old Memories....taking out my default from last year for a spin, still a gr8 handling car --- Post updated --- Limo drifto
"nobody should be stopped from making an addition to a mod" doesn't mean I don't have the right to tell you you can't. It's my work and if I tell you not to mess with it, even for personal use, then you don't. I hope that's clear.
of course you have the right to tell them to stop, and the right to stop them from distributing the modified version, but if someone makes something as simple as a engine tune, you really can't stop them from making it. Hell: this clearly modifies your DeLorean mod by modifying nearly every possible values. and then what? nothing changes. OT: game files, here shows the etk k series v12 being in the game folder in (Drive Letter):\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\content\vehicles\etkc.zip\vehicles\etkc
