the mod doesn't work for me, the car doesn't move or respond to anything when using any of the electric drivetrains
With the latest update, the meters do not seem to be working properly. As for the hybrid system, it is working fine. (Machine translation)
Hey, so I just downloaded this but for some reason the car wont start. When I check the engine, it says its gas. Can someone help me out?
I have tried that, but the car does not want to start or work. --- Post updated --- Ok, so I messed around with the car and got it to start, but for some reason when I put the engine as hybrid, there is no hybrid. I also try everything else, but there is no hybrid.
The mod is cool and works on newest build as is. It was said here numerous times - you have to select "use realistic gearbox" by default in settings, before you spawn. Plus the engine must be started manually by the start/stop button or key. What throws me off a little is the eCVT part. It whines on the same RPM, which is just weird and exatcly the reason why I skipped on Toyota IRL. I'm way too new here to make any request, but if I could, I would ask for any DCT as option. For example Kia uses 6 speed DCT in HEV and PHEV Niro and it is more pleasant and quiet drive overall. Niro also does not have speed limitation. With charged battery and light foot, even HEV version will happily roll on highway for few kms in full EV mode.
Well, this is modeled over the Toyota's hybrid system, that's why it is front biased and it has the eCVT part. My suggestion would be using either the race or the Sport eCVT (or the Sportier that I sent some pages ago, which makes the car really tail happy) with very short final drave ratios. Putting the race adjustable final drive ratio and making the front one 4.86:1 and the rear 5.88:1 makes the car really zippy
(Sorry if this is annoying.) I'm using a realisitic gearbox and Everything is working fine except the meter. The system turns on and the engine starts automatically. EV mode and charge mode are working. The meter does not move, the needle is fixed on the top.
I forgot to write other information... The game version is 0.24.1.1. I have downloaded and installed the mod.
I'm using a Metric hybrid gauge. I don't know why it does this... The standard one is not optimized for hybrids, but it works fine. I've tried reinstalling the mod and checking the consistency on Steam. No improvement...
Hello, I've noticed this mod hasn't been updated for quite a long time, but I do like the mod and I just want to say that whenever I change one or several components like the hood or whatsoever, my gauges just stop working, as mentioned above. If you happen to still develop this mod, please could you fix this as it's really annoying... Regards
Weird. For me it works beautifully. And I evn threw a transfercase on the eCVT for supreme starting power

For me, shifting gears is more fun in any vehicle, whether it's a car, truck, bus, or off-road vehicles like ATVs or side-by-sides (SXSs). Shifting is part of the joy of driving for me, and with electric cars or vehicles with CVTs, the shifts aren't there, which might make the ride feel smoother for some, but I like to hear the changes in RPMs as the transmission changes gears, and feel the gearshifts as well. With a CVT, in my opinion, the engine sounds like a "drone", and at high RPMs, the engine sounds like it's under a lot of stress and might explode if you keep it floored for too long...
