*fourth attempt to type this without sounding completely biased. The third one was good but my internet died and updating the page lost that draft =/* All MMO's will have a lackluster community at best. WG still does stuff I don't agree with but their issues nowadays are usually out of their stubbornness, not any intent. There are people in the company who really care about the game, especially the CEO Victor Kisley. The company really cleaned up their act since Rubicon and Fochgate (funny stories if you want to look them up. They weren't funny at the time though...). They acknowledge their mistakes and try to improve and listen to the community, unlike EA/Gaijin/My.com. All of WG's major titles have a steep learning curve, WoWs is probably the hardest to start out in but it probably doesn't last as long as WoT for a couple of reasons. It'll still take a long time to get good at it though. If you have any questions feel free to PM me.
Actually you do need permission. It doesnt matter if you're an individual or a company, if the models author is individual or company, if you dont have license permissions to utilise that model, it is a copyright offense, its really fucking simple. Someone *making* a model has nothing to do with this.
Yeah Ytrewq already pointed out I was thinking of something else, so I retarded and I gonna shoot my self hell yeah! (This is a joke if you think I'm going to Kurt Cobain it, you should calm down and drink a beer)
I think I found a/the site the devs used to get their engine sounds. $210 for an L6? No wonder they're locked..
In NFS 2012 I was unlocking most wanted races so fast that I didn't bother doing them after the first couple. I just did the Koenigsegg race in my first car, the Ariel Atom. As much as I want to do all of the MW races in my first car, doing them in a fully upgrades Agera R is tempting... Of course I now have to take down the Koenigsegg. In my last post about MW I complained that DLC content is in the world regardless of if it is purchased. Well guess where that Koenigsegg went while I was chasing it after the race?.. The DLC airport that I cannot go into since I don't own any DLC... Isn't EA great? Update: The Koenigsegg was horrible until I got short gears and aero body... which were the last things I unlocked... also, the Pagani Huayra pulled the same "duck into the DLC area" stunt as the Koenigsegg did... I am so sick of this "put DLC content in the normal world but still have it locked" nonsense, it is so stupid. Also, who designed this level? Half of the jumps lead to a brick wall or a "out of bounds" area if you take them in a fast car.... This game is so frustrating, and the fact that there's only a handful of races that you have to do over and over and over doesn't help...
and good --- Post updated --- OT: Am I the only one who thinks that the laugh crying emoji is absolutely disgusting?
Minor rant incoming. But why do space heaters (or fan heaters) have the thermostat on the top! So I set the thermostat but then as the room warms the heater turns off. The fan goes off and the elements at the same time. So the heat from the elements goes up to the top of the heater. Warming up the thermostat. This then can occur long enough to not allow the heater to kick in again until the room has gotten quite a bit colder. As you can see the thermostat is on the top. But this fan heater... Has a digital thermostat on the top. You turn off the heater and the inside temperature goes up about 5c and takes quite a while for it to cool down again.
It is literally impossible to recover an old Yahoo account if you lose your backup contact info. I'm dead serious. Get locked out because Yahoo detects "sTrAnGe AcTiViTy?" Better hope you didn't move last year and change your phone number, bacause they don't mess around with any of that security question nonsense. Want to speak to a real person to see if you can get this sorted the old fashioned way? Well, fuck you, because their help page is an endless loop where the "contact us" button at the end takes you back to the start of the FAQ. I've resorted to texting my old phone number in the hope they recycled it and gave it to someone willing to tell me the recovery code. I just want my Flickr account back, ugh. EDIT: You know what else I did before accidentally signing out of Flickr? I added my current email to the contacts list in Flickr in an attemt to save it. Know what that means? It means I can't use that email to create a new account unless I remove it from the old one. Know what I need to do to do that? SIGN THE FUCK IN. God dammit.
