Great map! Only one problem. I really want to go on the mountain course with the AI, but with how the decalroads were put down, I cant make the drivability -1 or else it won't be able to go along the course. Pretty much I want to cut out the first corner and add the mountain course.
Hi, I made the roads for the main layout before I even thought of doing the mountain part. I can patch it up easily, so the paths can be set however you need. I'd like to find a way to change the path drivability in freeroam, without making a whole new mis file for each layout. On a similar topic, I loaded the LIDAR map for this track and quickly found traces of the actual mountain course still carved into the mountain when it was originally bulldozed. It has a similar shape,but follows a totally different path than the one used in the GPL version this is based on.
bump Ignore me being on another @Ewanc map, but racing with the AI here can get annoying since the first corner can have the AI making a dead stop and doing a 3 point turn towards the mountain route. It gets so annoying, so a fix would be splendid
Apologize for the bump, but I'm stuck on this loading screen whenever I try to start a time trial. Is there any way to fix this that I'm not aware of, or do I need to download some other version?
This was one of my favorite maps, but the numerous Beam updates have left it a bit broken. I went through and corrected the issues with missing materials and the broken time trial. This should work ok at least as of 0.24.1.3. Edit: This version is broken. Look further down the thread for the good one.
Glad to see people making efforts to preserve these tracks! For me though, the game crashes with a "STATUS_STACK_BUFFER_OVERRUN" error when I try to run the fixed version. I made sure any files from the old version were deleted and cleared cache, but I get the same error.
Another attempt. This time I just recreated all the races from scratch using the waypoint definitions in the original files. I also added quick travel points to each race start points and another layout (front chicane only). I have also validated this with deep cache clean a few times and it worked. [Also: Why is the file hash checking stage single-threaded anyway? That took quite a while each runs.]

The 0.26 update messed up the textures and now one half of the trees say missing textures. Could be the same on road atlanta, I haven't checked yet
