    Someone will STILL post something like this.
    You need that, & maybe 2 pop-ups saying "Have you searched?" & "Have you searched used different words?" ('different words' being 3x bigger font)

    I've seen on other forums a different thing that worked much better. What it did was it searched the forum using the title you put into your new thread post and then it would show a few threads(if it found any) for you to view before it would allow you to post. That's the most effective way of removing spam/dupe threads imho.
