rear steering would make it tip over way easier, and with the 44's it's actually hard to even go around a corner right now. i'm not sure i want to release the 44's, they're really bad in terms of handling, but there's nothing i can do, it's just not made to have such big tires.. but people asked for it so i will give it anyways, i just dont want to hear about how bad it drives with those
sure, you can try to work on the bumper textures if you want, the bumpers are in the zip file already, if you can do that i will send you the new parts after if you want
why not make it a stage 2 monster truck? we have the wheels and tires from the CRD Monster Truck but the rest is up to you
i asked the guy who works on the CRD, he said he had plans for it so i won't be able to make a monster truck variant, but with the high lift suspension and the 5 ton rockwell axle i am working on right now, it will be pretty close
well, this is what i think @FLyInG 2 YoUr SoUL was thinking about doing and this is what i was thinking you could possibly do
i have the axles made, just no monster truck tires and i don't want to take his, he has the best monster truck on BeamNG and he worked hard for it, i prefer doing my own thing and not copying his
well i just made a suggestion. you wouldn't be coping his mod since it hasn't even been started yet but to each their own i guess. can't wait to see what you'll do
In the meantime, here's my first mod. A monster covet, using the old CRD frame. Yeah i know it's really bad, but it was my first mod, we all have to start somewhere right? https://www.beamng.com/threads/monster-covet.35026/#post-518837
Um.... there not really his tires.... they are John Dough's and Klayton's.... TBH I would love to see a Monster variant. But if you do make a Monster, use the Goodyear Tires not BKT's.
This. It's not really a problem with graphics assets (I didn't model these wheels anyway), but rather overlapping projects. And people bypassing me day in, day out, giving away stuff I have been working on for months (there's more to this than just the 3D meshes) without even asking for my opinion. A matter of principle, nothing more. As long as what you want to do doesn't collide with projects I've been planning for months - about which @enjoyinorc6742 doesn't know anything, anyway - it's all fine and dandy.
What if you soften the rear suspension, or do the opposite? I'm not the one to tell you what to do, but what if you lengthen the wheelbase? A heavier front end would help too. --- Post updated --- You'll never, or shouldn't, be going over 20-30 MPH with 44s anyway. It's the same with real life. --- Post updated --- Offroad Approved, I feel like this is the perfect practical tire size.
yes, i am working on the 5 ton rockwell axles, just got done fitting the brake on them, i had to lengthen the wheelbase a few inches to make it all fit, however that might not be released before a while, i still have to modify the jbeam a lot and while i'm at it, i might as well make a 4 link
