This is a bump, but I'll answer your question.

Place the mod zip file in the mods folder in your BeamNG documents directory. DO NOT unzip it, put the zip file in the said folder and be done with it. Then enjoy the mod in game.

 

This pack is outdated but an update is coming.

This is a bump but there are two reasons :

1 : people who have it already know now it's broken.

2 : people wishing to download it now, are informed it's broken. Outdated sticker is on the way.

 

Can not wait for the update. Thanks for keeping us informed.

Is it available on the Caprice as well?

 

No this is Oldsmobile update only, presets were broken.

 

You created Trish's new wagon from Lethal Weapon 2.

 

Like Serge said, this is only to fix it so that it works with the new Olds update. Caprice skins are in the works and may take some time since they don't use the same textures and positioning.

 

why was the Dixie license plate removed from the Dukes
of Hazzard sheriff car, when it was on the real car?

to take such an iconic car from the south in a show that did not show racism, but in fact spoke out against prejudice,

and outright replace it with a united states flag that just looks weird in its place, just to be better safe than sorry because of some stirred up controversy because a criminally insane juvenile posed with it is mind-boggling to me.
I'm not looking for a fight. I'm not being aggressive, I'd just like to know... why? I'd be just as confused if someone created bandit's trans am, then replaced the georgia-Confederate plate

with an American flag.. its a southern icon, with southern markings, from a film/series based in the south, so why can't it be allowed to keep its own trademarks?

 

It isn't appropriate anymore given the backlash in the current culture. Since it was a relatively minor change that doesn't affect the whole look (it just uses the Hazzard plate in front), it wasn't a hard decision to remove. If you really want it, here you go. Drop the attached file in your mods folder. It will only work with the Delta 88 sedan (won't work on the other variants) and add it to your vehicle in the vehicle configuration panel by going to "Front Bumper" and changing "Front License Plate" to the Dixie plate. This file will not make its way into the official repo, nor into future cop pack revisions, and it will not be updated.

Just because "current culture" wants to get upset over a Navy Jack that was used by the south during the Civil War doesn't make sense to remove it. Should of just made it an option, so people like me who enjoy replicas that match down to small details (even though they used Dodge Polaras and Plymouths, cause they couldn't stay on one car design) like a license plate can enjoy it.

Anywho, thanks for atleast letting us download it, love the mod and am very happy with the detail in the skins!

 

It seems that you have renamed the file. Can you please put a note in the updates tab/main page when you do this to prevent people who "lazy save" (i.e. just deleting the (1) from the filename and hitting enter) from having 2 copies?

 

I have the regular olds full size and I get the skin pack and it tells me: Fatal Vehicle Exception. Please Reload the vehicle.
I get this is a common occurrences in beamng drive but it just wont work no matter what I do?
Any suggestions?

Delete all old files for the oldsfullsize (including this skin pack). Download this:

Then re-download this updated skin pack.

 

The cars all drive fine but for me but the windows, lights and literally everything but the body panels and interior have no textures. Any idea why?
