The ABS was added with the idea of being a minimum safety requirement for most markets the car would be sold in, but maybe removing it from, at least, the most basic trims would make sense indeed.
the gauges have messed up textures, the lights are permanently on but the needle never lights up so you cant tell how fast your going at night
Nah that'st he bare minimum Even Soviet era shitboxes had illuminated needles albeit very inconsistent
also that still doesnt fix the fact the actual gauges are always lit up. sotp pretending bugs are features please.
Update is awaiting approval, since 0.26 broke it yet again. Also added the working odometer for good measure.
JorgePinto updated Hirochi Start with a new update entry: 0.26 Update Read the rest of this update entry...
well ive found out the gauges are supposed to onsntatly glow as they do in the base game, however the needles are unreadable since they blend in with the dash (possibly paint tips yellow or something but not actually glow?) also a clock seems kind of upscale in this car and i feel more like itd just be a blank and nothing at all --- Post updated --- and the new parts dont open with the update
Regarding the clock, you see it in older cars or very cheap sorta-modern cars in place of a tachometer normally, so I think it fits personally. either that, or you do a pessima approach and have just the fuel gauge and temperature in a whole gauge pod Edit: Also keep in mind this probably wont be fixed any time soon as iirc Jorge is on a indefinite break from BeamNG
Correct on both things, thank you. Not taking my break into account right away, the Start has been put aside until an eventual Sunburst remaster comes along. By the time that happens, I'll see what to do, either maybe, maybe tackle the job myself, or leave it to a chosen person, which is also a very probable outcome.
And now, the Hirochi Start as we know it is finally dead... I do have plans for a remaster, but will take a while as I decide what and how to do things, I definitely want to keep this mod alive as it was my first mod, and hopefully the Start 4.0 will be worth it. In the meantime...good night, sweet prince.
