Outdated Pigeon Mod Pack 8.1

@Taza whats the chance we could get a few interior options, like a speedometer in MPH, a small RPM gauge mounted like so:

(ignore the terrible art skills ),

and here's a list of a few more ideas
- seats from the van, roamer, sunburst, or maybe racing seats
- a "deluxe" dashboard that extends along the whole of the car, instead of just the right half
- rear box with windows
- gull wing doors (whynot)
- the hopper's side steps
- a brush bar on the front (just the one from the roamer and van)
- racing sticker over the windshield
- coil-over rear solid axle suspension
- rally & square options for the bumper spotlights
- taped over headlights
- chrome mirrors
- chrome in general (stripping ect)
- widebody rear fender flares
- tarp rear box (soft top material from hopper)

and thats about it, except for the grand finale(s)...

Two full body modifications:
-A roofless hopper style version, complete with a fold-able windshield, half doors, a roll bar, rear seats, and hard & soft tops.
-A Hatchback

my personal favorite is the hopper style version, as i think it could actually work quite well with the pigeon!

here are some quick sketches for what i have now called, the 'Popper': (Pigeon + Hopper)


just to list the changes, it has;

• a roll bar (presumably from the hopper)
• half doors
• a fold-down-able windshield (Jbeam from the hopper, i assume)
• the light bar from the hopper on the pigeon's now fold-down-able windshield
• square bumper headlights
• a winch
• Coil-over rear solid axle (From the hopper) to replace the leaf spring
• a taillight less bumper, with the hopper taillights added to the pigeon's rear (maybe... not sure about that one, as it may reduce the pigeon's overall "look")
• spare tire mounted on the hood or tailgate? (not shown, just thought of it)
• a rear bench seat
• soft top (from the hopper, i assume) ((possibly a hard top))
• brush guard (from the roamer and/or van)
• side steps (from the hopper, not sure about this idea to be honest...)
• aaaand thats about it!

Thanks, that's a lot of great ideas Some of those things were already planned, but some are pretty hard for me to make. I'm not that great with modeling, so the 'popper' won't make it to the next update. Also suspension is hard for me to understand, so the coilover rear suspension might have to wait a bit. I'm currently working on the flatbed I started yesterday, but I'll start adding some of these parts after it's finished.

As you can see on the first page of this thread, I already tried that. And I'm not going to work on it (sorry) because it's a mess.

 

im not good at Jbeam, (as ive never done it ) but wouldn't it be possible to just copy-paste the Jbeam and Mesh from the hopper onto the pigeon?

 

That and a lot of adjusting. The pigeon frame jbeam is different than on the hopper, the suspension would have to be scaled, the suspension will behave differently when scaled and the wheels on the pigeon are a mystery.

Btw I added the sidesteps yesterday and I'll add some widebody rear parts and an offroad bumper for the next update. Maybe even the rpm gauge if I can figure it out/ have time to do it.

 

This is the BEST PIGEON mod ever (everything cool if @Taza made it) I can do much much things with this "pigeon=multitool

 

With the future updates, you'll be able to do even more

 

i love the new 5wd pidgeons, but the bed and the round headlight body (awesome, someone make it into a separate mod please) don`t want to load
like they`re basically "Empty" in the configurator or something
is there another mod i need?

 

And @Taza, there's a bug when I tried the police skin to the long four wheeled, the white skin color become cracks for the black color, and uh the four wheeled pigeon (from your mod), the regular front tire are weak, so it will blown up when turning left or right. That's make me ...

Those things should work, try clearing cache. If that doesn't help, I don't know what will.

The four wheeled parts are from mike94's mod, and afaik the body on that does not support skins. Nothing I can do to fix those. Also I'm already working on a lot of stuff, I can't promise anything.

Downloaded this pack today and the flatbed for the extended wheel base and 5WD is missing. Please help!

 

There is no flatbed for the 5 wheeler frame (yet?) but there should be a config for both of the flatbeds. If they don't work, I've propably deleted something, oops.

 

Yep, there is no flatbed and front end of the 5WD config.

 

Does it appear if you press ctrl+T (press again to disable)? Anyone else to confirm this as a bug? I'm not on my laptop atm.

 

When I press Ctrl + T, it only shows it bed's collision triangle drawings, but the flatbed is still invisible.

 

I recommend you clear cache, make sure the game is updated and maybe even redownload the mod. Everything works fine for me, and as no one else has reported this problem, I believe the problem is at your end.
