Since you have access to the docs now, you could write an official up to date skin tutorial there, and maybe include templates for vanilla vehicles to download
That's what I meant by "It's on my todo list" For templates I think all vanilla cars have them. If you look for a "CARNAME_skin_UVs.png" in their zip file.
I know they have UVs but templates for skin.materials.json would be nice, with several versions like for colorable skin, with adjustable metallic, with and without special parts like widebody, bumpers, etc.

I have just started using the mod and i want to know how to make the formula off-road with jbeam wheels to hydroplane? it says it could but just driving it into water fast doesn't work
How do you use the jbeam paddle tire because whenever I open the car with them on they just appear as normal tires
I have it installed already but they don't work. On the buggy the wheels are invisible and on the brawler it just gives me some default off road tyres
Those wheels are not required anymore. I included them in the mod due to the large amount of people not reading the large red message (although that probably includes people who just saw the name and thumbnail on the in-game repo and pressed subscribe) There's a variant called "Formula 980 (Experimental paddles)" that has them. They look the same, but handle differently. Keep in mind that driving on water isn't perfectly reliable. You have to get in smoothly, while still using full throttle, or else the thing tends to bounce and sink itself on entry (or flip). They're experimental for a reason, and tend to be finicky and may not work right for many reasons that I mostly don't understand. For example, lowering the weight to a reasonable value makes them not work anymore, and some other stuff like low framerates or simplified physics might break them.
Uninstall my old wheel mod. I looked a bit at the files, and I think they might be overwritting the brawler's wheel jbeam files, breaking things in the process. I marked it as outdated so hopefully people stop downloading it, and since I don't plan on fixing it up in the short term.
i was haveing a prob with the jbeam wheels where when in use they brake the engine function and the game acts like theres no drivetrain
