Well maybe my guess of them staffing up was right and they just have more capabilities than ever. Would be pretty neat!
Yep, I'd really like to see an old Polizei variant of the I-Series, along with a German banana taxi variant and a bunch of 4- and 6-cylinder diesels!
my god please stop i cant take this.. This would be easily my new all time favourite vehicle when this would come true!
And a car wash machine complete with its rails maybe? One thing is for sure though: if an automated car wash pulley tunnel enters the game, the levels must become interactive. --- Post updated --- The Unimog is famous for its ease of moving the steering wheel from one side to the other and this is for easier entrance and operation. So maybe the wipers are designed the same modular way too. --- Post updated --- The Banana taxi is one of the things I want for the 800 too. Since it's a Wagon and it has diesel engines, it makes for a perfect candidate too!
I'm particularly interested in the corrugated pattern on the new 6x6 wagon's panels. In a way it evokes the Citroën H van: A cheap way to improve structural integrity without using more steel, at the expense of aesthetics (depending on who you ask). I just hope we actually do get more than just a fire engine, but knowing the devs, they will deliver. As for the fire engine model, I hope we get multiple liveries from around Europe
this is what it reminded me of, but its not as long, also most likely a etk, i hope theres going to be a camper config,
Updated my expectations post to include Diamondback's ABS posts and Todays Teaser Tuesday Choro-Q-looking truck
Scratches and dirt have been in the works for a while now, and the devs do generally plan their vehicles around the features they're most excited to showcase, or that tie most closely into the rest of the update (think Piccolina and Italy, Scintillia and doors / interior triggers), So I wouldn't be surprised if that's on the table! Even more so to add on to this, a new "dry and hot" map is in the works, so I wouldn't be surprised if this new 6x6 offroad box ties into either the announcement or possibly even release (doubtful) of that new map! Another tick in the fire truck theory box, LeeLoo's quick description above the teaser in Development Media reads "It's teaser time! Are you fired up yet?"; of course a fire related pun. Worth noting that interior work has begun with what I imagine are the beginnings of textures for the gauge cluster, which is on the left side of the dashboard, suggesting a LHD market.
Whatnot98 said that the placement of the wipers seems like a RHD version is what we see here but your comment on the gauge cluster being on the left hand side may suggest that we also get a gauge cluster pod attached to a movable steering column from side to side, like in the Unimog.
The design seems to be 70s Mercedes T1 mixed with Unimog but these were build over 20 years so who knows what the timeline will be.
Also, do you remember that train wheel mod, for turning a car into a weird mini train? I think it would be great for this truck, to make it suitable for railroad works too!
Reminds me of a Mercedes-Benz T2? Maybe a beefed-up VW LT? I dunno tho it looks weird. Just kinda a weird design, I can't get a bead on it. The angular fender flares and the corrugated parts are really throwing me off. I think it's safe to say it's European (Despite the windshield wipers- I'd guess those are an oversight.) Besides, for maps like Italy (and also maybe the upcoming map) a semi like the T-Series or an American-style van like the H-series doesn't make sense. If I had to guess, I'd say it's a cabover light-medium duty van that ranges from basic, light cargo van to more specific and heavy duty applicaitions.
