No, you're just really lucky to land on the Autobahn. Germany is like most western european countries. A bunch of motorways, villages, fields, and some large cities.
well not fully true and viceversa because sometimes in real life you crash and it doesn't affect the drivertrain but in Beamng drive it's impossible to have this result
Sometimes in beam the same thing happens. I've gone it countless times. (Mostly on gridmap). A fake damage system would be completely unnessacary.
maybe not for people that are making videos for youtube and I would love to have this feature (drive with a bad looking car but just working good) and maybe some more people too...
Guard rails are fairly uncommon on country roads here... This, on the other hand, is a much more frequent (and alarming) sight:
Here the only thing separating you from someone's pool is their hedge. OT: WCUSA this update? It's been a while since the last news about it, so progress was probably done.
Not... necessarily. If/when a full career becomes a thing, I suspect it will be possible to pick & choose which parts to repair/replace, so if you're running low on money you could fix a damaged engine or transmission while leaving the bodywork banged up.
Seriously, they should be destructible, because a WOODEN fence can TOTALLY destroy a car going 150+ MPH!
West Coast USA looks amazing! Being that it's almost finished, I would assume and update including it in about a month.
I spy with my little eyes a cool place to do rooftop parkour/crawling scenarios. And I'm still wondering how will the map end, like, will it go directly from big dense city to low-poly background mountain? I hope not.
Say, @B25Mitch, if you've still got some space left, could we get a Tasti-cola bottling plant/warehouse, and a buy-here pay-here used car lot? By the way, I'm really digging those tower cranes!
Well, B25Mitch said this. "which leaves only the port area (seen below WIP), a couple of small industrial areas, and some racetrack facilities still to come." So that leaves me to think that this may come in the next update...
For another indie game I know, an update took 3 months. What if the next BeamNG update could be out in July, 3 months after April?
There has to be something "meaty" to be included in the upcoming update. So its either WCUSA or maybe the Bluebuck (doubt that one).
In all honesty, I am not as hyped for the Bluebuck as I would be for any other car. I just feel as if there should be a new pickup, or minivan or improvements to crash physics, or interior car lights, or fire at least emitting light, like fire does. But hey, it's not up to me what they add.
My guess for the date on the next update would be before the end of July. Quote taken from: https://www.beamng.com/threads/cannot-complete-rocky-start-missions.42132/#post-634735
