Maybe BeamNG struck a deal with another company to make a simulator in their own engine, so they would need to test how the game would handle inputs from any possible type of control? Sort of like how BeamNG Tech teamed up with that waste collection company a while back.
I want more simplified ai traffic cars like the Roamer, D Series, SBR4, Piccolina, and maybe a way for EUDM and USDM cars to spawn ie: in US Maps ETK 800/K Series would have USDM parts and anywhere else EU or whatever and maybe spawning ratios some cars will spawn less often and some would be really common depending on where and what country you are in. And maybe a way to have interchanging ai cars so like it would automatically cycle through the cycle with of course the same or more variety.
the only thing I wanted was proper mirrors and they've added it already, just need it on every car in beam))
AI revamp would be really welcomed for racing, right now the racing AI is... Slow and kind of random. BeamNG being an experimental game, that'd be really cool seeing them try some well, experimental AI just like Sophy
The Piccolina drag config has a single leaf spring suspension similar to prewar Ford cars, maybe I am just being hopeful but maybe this could mean a prewar car in the future?
I haven't suggested this yet, but, if it was tied into the hidden/invisible vehicle option in the AI settings, I've always thought maybe AI could cycle through configs of the vehicle using either the 'load function' (maybe streamlined to reduce lag?) or just switching out the parts to make it the new config, to allow more variety. And some configs on older vehicles would have a more common spawn ratio, eg. a sports variant, because they would've been more likely to have survived than a base model. Older cars need a much lower spawn rate too, and more modern cars a much higher rate, such as the Sunburst, ETK-800 and K-Series, Cherrier FCV etc. The country specific parts need looking at too in terms of AI, as for example the Cherrier FCV used to spawn everywhere with Euro style plate sizes (even in US maps) bit now it is the opposite with it spawning in traffic in Euro maps with US style plates sizes. I think the USDM models of the Bolide and Lansdale also spawn in Euro maps sometimes, which shouldn't really happen. Another issue I have just realised fully, is that despite the number of US vehicles in game without a front license plate in their config, all US states depicted in maps require a front plate by law. Not really speculation, but there you go.
