LF9 was actually a clean sheet design, it just happened to be the same displacement as the gas 350. It was actually a decent engine, but had huge teething issues that pretty much killed it. But anyway, the engine we're being shown has a turbo.

Anyway, I'm willing to bet it's going to be something like 6 Liters, even if it does end up being a bit unrealistic. It's still the late 80s, so power isn't gonna be all that impressive though.

6 liters would be rather high. Usually diesel engines of similar displacement are larger than gasoline ones, so going by the fact it uses the same base engine block as the 4.5 and 5.5 gasoline V8s it would habe to be 5.5L at most. 5 L would be what I'd bet for.

Vehicles that D-series somewhat is connected to IRL had 5.0 and 6.2 diesels, turbo kit did look like aftermarket as I pointed out in the thread.

If it does not fit, use the angle grinder, that will make some room :p

Diesels tend to have bit beefier bits because of high compression and vibration, increased amount of metal helps with metal fatique etc. Converting diesel to gasoline can run nice amount of boost if you can lower compression to sane numbers, I wonder if with diesel there will be such option, but there are already really strong engine blocks, which kinda do that, so maybe not. Mesh and engine weight need to be probably modded to get such tuneup kit.

It is about the size of an 80-96 f150 or a 88-94 C/K, they are a bit smaller than newer trucks

Did anyone notice that one of the songs that plays in the Light Runner map sounds a lot like this?

It's made by the same person, so it obviously would have similarities.

Probably because Gabester composed pretty much everything music-related for BeamNG.

Yep we used an edit of one of the Light Runner tracks for that announce video. Absolute fluke that it was chosen though, we had no idea that it would also be used in Light Runner at that time.

Gabesters music is Dubstep 70s new age polka trance. Combined with smooth jazz, cannibal corpse and a hint of daft punk.
Get it all together you guys.

I can't quite imagine how that would be, this is pretty much what I see from that description of style:

So if it is anything alike, then I guess TDK's music was quite bit better choice :p

Now what do you guys think, will there be new mirrors in some distant update? For bus driving mirrors are quite essential and with current ones it is kinda hard to see anything really, so I would imagine there might be new mirrors in plans for some time.

Here I was thinking Gabe Fink and Thomas Bangalter were the same person. Learn something new every day.

I wonder if signs reflect light during the night.

Nadeox mentioned in some topic that they hope to get new update done by end of this week, but not sure if there was more work than time, week starts to be quite near the end.

0-10, italian highway not bumpy enough.
one time we were cruising at 180 in a renault scenic rx4 and hit a giant fucking pothole that wrecked our alignment and almost sent us skidding into a guardrail. it seems like italian main roads/highways are less maintained than the good driving roads in the mountains :p

That's what you get for going dozens of km/h over the limit.

You gotta pay to play. OT :That’s why I like small island, the roads aren’t great and you can’t just send it at high speeds because you’ll just spin out.
