I just realized something: We haven't seen AI improvements because they are waiting to update the maps before they update the system. From the teasers of the new AI, it was shown that it used a rather different system. I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't updated the AI yet because they want to update the maps first so they don't have to add the new system twice.
I was hoping it was that "stop ahead" printed on the roads in the middle of nowhere on two lane highways, but hey, signs are cool too, I guess. Have there been teasers for improved AI? I haven't seen them.

Gonna post this here: BeamNG on the ECA Upgrades: "There will be double or triple the detail than the current version. So we're optimizing like crazy, to minimize the impact of so much extra detail, as we don't like killing PCs either!"
Yes there has, a while back. Here is the link: https://beamng.com/threads/ai-work.54961/ It was made a while ago, but still hasn't been implemented, unless it was used for the Traffic Tool mod
Yes we have. It is weird that it has only just been posted to Youtube considering that the video was released on Twitter and this site about a week ago.
I don't think Utah will be getting updated. In BeamNG's Tech Showcase 2019 video, Utah is featured, and appears unchanged. A number of other maps are featured, but none of the maps confirmed to be getting upgrades are. However, JRI is not featured either, so it might potentially get upgrades.
Yes, video was available at gmbh/research page. Don't worry that's only date of making video public Try don't look for cheap sensationalism.
why do people call it that, its such a stupid name, and yes I know its for simplicity but that name? really
If Tdev burped, you'd fly out to Bremen, collect an air sample in the BeamNG office, and analayze it. This is just my way of saying you seem to be over-thinking content.
Damnit how'd you find that Tdev burp analyzer I left laying around? Anyways, I thought upload date was for the first time published on Youtube, even if unlisted, not the day it was made public, my bad. We have little information of what constitutes an "older map" according to BeamNG. The cutoff may be as early as ECA or as late as Utah. We don't know. One thing I would like to bring up though, would Gridmap get updated at some point? It's one of the, if not the oldest map in BeamNG, and it hasn't seen major improvements since 0.9 (which added the rock crawling area).
