Exactly. The main difference between the diesel and non-diesel 6AT are the gear ratios, and it isn't THAT big of a difference. Usually the shift up and down RPMs are different (like you can find on the ETK 8AT), but on the vanilla transmissions, the difference is less than 50 rpm.
I'm back on updating this. Good news: I'm able to fix the game-breaking DCT error with relative ease, shifter animation is also going to be fixed very soon Bad news: The electric motor logicmod is going to be abandoned since the 0.27 update doubled the lines of code in "shiftLogic-electricMotor.lua" and I have no idea how to update the modded electric motors, at the end of the day I'm just an amateur modder, not a professional programmer --- Post updated --- Yes. It is allowed to post your own modified version of this mod to the repository.
I dont really feel so. Maybe you can come up with something you experiement with but its totally close to the gas 6-spd and fits the Diesel just fine w Wow! now thats an VERY early birthday gift this year. Great you are back at it. I think you can just leave the electric motors at it last i tested them they worked just fine.
In addition to the slightly lowered shift RPM, diesel automatics also have a heavier torque converter and a lower lockup RPM compared to petrol automatics. I guess I'll update only the newer ignition logic (motor off when the ignition is off)
Yes i think it works well enough for the moment so no extra work on the E-motor logics are required. One last question i have is do you plan or can add a proper 4 spd automatic to the Stambecco? Would be really cool since the Pinzgauer had it and it was quite a letdown for me atleast that the devs didnt include one. Of course it would have no shifter but thats no problem since you can remove the manual shifter und clutch pedal and just "pretend" of the many rotating buttons on dash control the transmission.
anyone else got a fix for the engine not turning on when the shiftlogic mod is enabled on the new ETKs?
The only issue with that is when it's equipped with the diesel engine, it tends to hold on to the redline for some time before deciding to shift (at WOT). Overall it surely fits the diesel without problems at all.

I have one question. Is there any way to simulate torque converter lockup on demand since I'm very curious on how it works. I'm pretty sure there's a UI app for this but I'm not sure if it still works. Also, thanks for the new update.
If it's possible for you to make a transmission from ford (10r80 for gas and 10r140 for diesel) for the D Series, then that would be amazing. I have been trying to find good 10 speed transmissions for both gas and diesel applications but none of them work how they really should.
