"Rear Bumper Replacement License Plate" on the LeGran (No, it's not an issue with the texture of the plate design itself)
The devs really need to make the license plate setup more intuitive... Lots of mods have problems like this and only like 5 people in the modding community know how to troubleshoot this
for some reason, the steel wheels turn white on the legran whenever I have the core mod and the car pack enabled.
So after the release of the Bruckell pack I've realized, that while LeGran 2 does have manual transmission, LeGran VRV (which uses same powertrain) doesn't. That deeply saddened me, so I've chosen to make a manual transmission swap. Now I still have no idea how to animate shifters, but otherwise I am happy to report, that operation was a success. It now has a custom clutch pedal, I've improved the shift knob, so it looks less blocky and implemented manual gear display in modernized gauges (though I ran out of space for reverse indicator). After latest update, rear subframe can finally handle the power, so I thought why not try to make a performance oriented version, kinda like Legran G34. There goes the lore: Due to a success of a 1st gen Kashira, Ibishu decided to import a 2nd gen to US. With new generation came new variants, most important one being the GTz, which became an instant classic. Bruckell realized that they have nothing to compete against, so they put up a small team of dedicated engineers, who were involved in chassis tunning the Wendover and creating other performance variants to make VRV more »sporty«. What they have done is swap out the transmission with the one from G34, paired it to a 4.0 turbocharged V6 and sent the power through all four wheels via LSD. The end result, called the Bruckell Legran VRV 4000 Sport ended up being Civetta fast, with 0-60 times of arround 5.4s and quarter mile in just over 13.7s. I am willing to share my configuration, If anyone is interested, but I would love to have a persmission from the author to do so.
The LeGran VRV seems to be very... flimsy. It performs terribly in a frontal impact (the roof is very fragile) and it has a very bouncy suspension compared to something like the Kashira. It also tears itself apart just going over potholes at a reasonable speed. I think the best solution would be to strengthen the roof, as it is very weak and isn't providing any meaningful structural support.
Hi, @Urbanmaid I went through the 4 V6's in the M-Body pack and redid the engine curves with the goal of keeping the keeping the overall power the same but making the curves and power output smoother. I've attached the engine file and a screenie of the lowest output curve(2.8 with carb). I hope they are to your liking. If so feel free to use them. I also tweaked the Stage 1, 2 and 3 turbo's using the intakemodmult to work better with how i trailed off the power on the top end(to leave room for engine mods). Note: Was going to DM but couldn't link picture or file.
here is a tip for y'all. never take a legran vrv rallying. otherwise, you may find your engine spinning around like mad 5 or 6 miles away from the vehicle.
Just did some research on the car that the LeGran VRV is based off of, and now I understand why it is very flimsy. It was built like a kit car. Nice job GM.
Any chance you could incorporate something like this? https://www.beamng.com/threads/realistic-headlight-patterns.84947/
Nice work, finally has a superminivan. will you share the configs and files you used for this config? The folder issues? Hmmm i should renew the suspension when I am able to do the most of my modding works (not now)
--- Post updated --- The VW T-Cross mod also does this, but to the 15x7 steel rims. Dunno what causes it.
No problem at all, but before It was ready, I had to spend some time making exterior a little bit more distinquishable. Apart from removing VRV badging throughout the entire car (mostly because I don't think that a performance oriented version would need to let everyone know that) and creating sport ones, I have also made quad pipe exhaust (fully functional on both sides) and gave it G34's strut bar (once again, fully functional, with holes cut out in bodywork so the bar can go through). I wasn't satisfied with how undistinquishable rims were, so I have made them darker and gave them a red »sporty« logo. I have also lowered the suspension and improved rebound (kinda?). Car makes healthy 275hp and 414 nm of torque. Because I didn't want to reduce its practicality, curb weight stayed relatively the same at arround 1830kg. I was able to get 2:30 arround Automation, which admittedly wasn't enough to match the Kashira GTz. However it was still enough to give weaker variants of Bolide a run for their money while being far more managable at a limit. Here are pictures and both common and Bruckell pack files, Enjoy! https://mega.nz/folder/z6wF1JCQ#2KudBYstbPMBzpVg11jRXA
