It would be sick if you added a "waterlogged" engine damage option or "dirty air filter" engine damage option, the dirty air filter makes the engine struggle to start, run rough, and burn oil occasionally, and the waterlogged option makes the engine struggle to idle, and lock up if held at high RPMs for too long.
I'll see what I can do but these kinds of things are not simulated in game, if I added them they could conflict with the other options
I would like to point out another thing. Well, the description of this configuration is wrong because, as you can see in the pictures, you can't tow things with it
Hate to bump, but how does one use the manual transmission with centrifugal clutch? I can't seem to upshift without synchro damage. I also don't see any mention of it in your mod updates, so is it WIP?
BUMP since i assume this is still a somewhat actively updated mod is there a way to add additional engine sounds to the common sound swaps? there's a set i'd like to (privately) use from a seperate engine mod but when i unpack and explore the folder there is no art/sound directory, so i suppose it pulls from the game art/sound folder?
When I equip "engine damage" in the engine swap feature, my car changes color permanently (you can't change it unless you remove the part again). A few days ago, a Bluebuck config I was trying to make turned bright magenta, and now my 200BX is stuck white, and it's SO annoying. Has anyone else had this problem, and is there a fix?
Isnt there any way to get the mileage from career mode into a variable in the tuning options? It could even be implemented as a standalone UI app.
I was wondering, why not putting the max value for the odometer up to 2 milion? There are many cars that are more way more used than simply 100k kilometers. I know that there is the powertrain wear that you can set but it's not as setting 1 milion mileage car >
It would be cool if you updated it instead, maybe making it for the whole car instead of just the engine.
