    Roof racks were an option for those weird long wheelbase 1949-54 Chrysler products. 1949 and 1950 Desotos had a long wheelbase sedan with wood trim I think. This mod would suit a boxy 1950s car very well. Too bad the Burnside doesn't come with a wagon. This mod would be perfect.
