The hellhopper was april 16, 2017. Oldsmobile full size pack was sept 22, 2016. And I don't think you can get the 49 Cadillac.

Some of the oldest mods were some maps like NLabs, the Cadillac 49, Covet Rally ED, BusFag/CarFag, Cliff 2, Grid 2.0, the 40 Tonne D-Series, Rocket Plane Bolide and the Cessna (I believe that was the first "actual" plane).. Those are the mods that I remember

I can barely remember that far back. Definitely remember the '49 Cadillac, some Jeep thing that was pretty cool, and the NLabs map. Nadeox1 made a Crown Vic in that era too. PenguinvilleNG by DoNotEat was the first WIP I remember, that was in 2012 the first few weeks of the forum iirc -- I made this account just to comment on that thread, which is here https://www.beamng.com/threads/penguinvilleng.5/

Oldest that still works is the crash cart as far as I know. At some point I watched some extremely old BeamNG gameplay videos from when the game just came out and I don't think this website had any mods on it yet (if it even existed), but there were some mods showcased from some Russian websites (not the same as the crappy websites that make terrible mods nowadays). There was a rocket Covet, plane Bolide, some maps that looked like modified Gridmap, a weird car that looked like a hamburger on wheels and it crashed really weird so it was probably a meshslap, some mods that were copies of official vehicles but with replaced textures (skins were not a thing), and I'm pretty sure there was also a really early version of the sledgehammer mod that was a bit different than the one we have now.

I found a potato car too lol

    --- Post updated ---
That thread is the oldest thread that still exists on the forums, somehow even older than the threads with rules, cool. Sad that the map from it will never work as it was made for the old game engine and is completely incompatible now

Mythbuster's '49 Cadillac Series 62 was BeamNG's first mod. Mythbuster had been working with one IRL, and created an intricately detailed model using it as reference, prior to the game's release. The devs were impressed, and allowed him some time to work with the fledgling program before it went public to polish his creation. Within hours of BeamNG's initial release in August of 2013, the mod was on the website.

Fun fact: for the first few years after BeamNG's release, only registered game owners could download mods on this website. Unless you owned the game, attached your copy to your account, and were logged in, you couldn't even view the mods subforum!
