It should also work if you just put the zip file directly into your mods folder without extracting, I think extracting is what ruins it.
There can be issues with the mod when it's zipped as far as I know, probably something to do with loading order of files in the userfolder. Best way to install for now is to extract directly inside the root of the userfolder. As far as the game is concerned that's the same file structure it should see with the zipped mod but for some reason it doesn't work and the game has to create files in the userfolder anyway because progress can't be stored in the mod zip file.
Big long time fan of slrr and this mod has made me playing nothing but beamng the past few days lol, always wanted to see something like this. I noticed a bunch of comments talking about the lack of cars and some even wanting the slrr cars ported over, im not that good of a modeler but reckon taught me how to add modded cars into BeamLR, i am working on adding around 8 new beamng lore friendly cars into the mod, so far i have added the AW astro, AW Bete, hirochi Mistral and Gavril vertex both for used and new car shops and habe started adding some of them to the races aswell! I will post them here when they are done, hopefully that will make some people happy. HELL YEAH DUDE ! I also added (real life ones) to west coast, but that was for a previous mod version. The beater pack and all you wanna add is fine imo !
All cars i will be adding for now is the Ibishu Prodigy, Procyon Centauri, ETK-C series(Already Done), Hirochi Mistral (already done), Gavril Vertex (already done),AW Astro and AW Bete (already done). There will be used car variants, new car variants and maybe some scrapyard variants. I will also add the kljp cars and facelifts but that will be separate since its like 1gb total lol and maybe some of you dont want it. It will take a couple of days tho since i dont have much time cause of exams rn. and im not sure how to release them here, maybe upload the files as "mods of mods"?

I will probably be releasing the car pack tomorrow (its currently midnight in my side of the world) its also gonna include a bunch of fixes and adjustments for the vanilla used cars, like some having missing roofs or rear quarterpanels (parts that cant be added or removed by the player) and some price/odometer adjustments

WOW ! NICE !!! The mod creator is libertarian regarding mods made to his mod, as far as I know. I'll test this with a controller as I don't wanna long play using my wheel. Not gaming atm. It's not available, I'll check back tomorrow.

Can you make a list a files you changed for when the main mod gets updated, you can overwrite them, or copy the info from one to another.
When the main mod gets updated, i will also update my mod. To add to this, the shop files will change quite a bit in next version as it uses an improved process for adding cars to shops with list files similar to what I mentioned for missions. For instance the file beamLR/shop/car/list_used_all contains all used cars and is shared between all used shops for now (might add more country/brand specific lists in a future version). This will negate the need to edit multiple shop files when adding new configs. I've also added the shop specific chances for spawning vehicles with random parts and shops now use factory paints for vehicles that don't have random parts.
