You can toggle the experimental 'Hardware Acceleration for UI' in Options > Graphics. Disabled = Slower but more stable UI. Enabled = Faster, but chance of issues on certain setups and some bugs. If you are on Windows 10, and are having performance issues with the UI, make sure 'Game Mode' is disabled, as it can cause performance issues due to how it handles the game's processes.
