Please check in Safe Mode before reporting any issue!

That will help us a lot focusing on actual, real issues, instead of going after problems caused by mods.
    Thanks in advance!

We would love to hear your feedback on the newest update! :)
Please also keep the non-contributing discussions to the bare minimum, so that we can help users in need more effectively.

    Important Notes
Click the spoilers to reveal the content
    • Game looks too dark / colors are too saturated / is heavily contrasted
Please remove / disable any old graphics mod you might have, as they will not look right with the lightning changes. You might also have to go to your UserFolder/settings folder and wipe the default.postfxpreset.cs file.
    • Issues with UI / Black Screen / UI Lag
Please check the first notice in the 0.16.0.2 changelog (click).

      1. You can toggle the experimental 'Hardware Acceleration for UI' in Options > Graphics.
Disabled = Slower but more stable UI.
Enabled = Faster, but chance of issues on certain setups and some bugs. Experimental!
Requires a game restart to apply.

      2. If you are on Windows 10, and are having performance issues with the UI, make sure 'Game Mode' is disabled, as it can cause performance issues due to how it handles the game's processes.
    • Fatal Vehicle Exceptions / Vehicles not loading / Vehicle collapsing / Floating camera
These are very commonly cause by broken/outdated mods see below for a list). If disabling mods does not help, do a clean reinstall (see below)
    Known Issues
Green = Fixed Orange = Known issue Red = Under investigation

    • Utah level appears broken | Not a bug; caused by previous mods for the level. Delete any 'utah' folder located in Documents/BeamNG.drive/levels as well.
    • Gavril D-Series Pickup wrong front parts or falls apart | Ibishu Dove mod will cause wrong front parts. Older mods for this vehicle could cause it to collapse on spawn. Disable those mods and wait for compatible versions

    • Ibishu Hopper: Spare Tire Holder part crashing game if swapped | Known issue
    • Changing shader quality settings breaks dynamic reflections | Known issue, only stays until a new level is loaded or game restarted.
    • Shadows are slightly transparent under vehicles | Known issue
    • Headlights flares appear strange when the camera is too close to them | Known issue
    • Game crashes when importing a heightmap | Known issue

    • Intel HD 620/630 Series crashing on vehicle reset | Investigation into the source of this issue is ongoing as a matter of priority being worked with the Intel team, but we do not yet have an ETA for a fix.
Help us gathering more information by following this: https://www.beamng.com/threads/debug-branch-to-collect-crash-data.64556

(Solution #1) - Use CTRL+R to reset a vehicle, instead of just R
(Solution #2) - A temporary workaround solution is available here
(Solution #3) - Turn on the FPS Limiter seems to reduce the chance of this (suggested by a few users, not confirmed yet)
(Solution #4) - Try older Intel drivers. Version 22.20.16.4836 did not manifest the issue from our side
    • Pixel artifacts on some vehicles one some old Intel HD Graphics | Under investigation
To report broken mods, use the mod's thread or contact the author of the mod directly.

A lot of goodies and interesting things.

I'm particularly interested in physics and collisions improvements, plus the user interface optimization.

    Thank you! :)

new lighting worst thing ever protest to get rid of it guys!!!!
In all seriousness though, would it be possible to have an option to revert back to old settings? It looks good on utah but looks like it was designed for utah and utah only.
New WCUSA isn't the kindest to my bad eyesight and looks rather bad imo

Also majority of transparent textures like glass are pretty much invisible and the thumbnails look like they came from 0.3 which isn't the best (photoroom light mod is also messed up and looks rather bad now so it's not like i can generate my own better looking ones)

No, you can't. This type of changes do not allow such thing.
We are not done yet, and some content is not yet using the new changes to their full extent yet. It's written in the changelog. There are old issues that are more visible now, those will be fixed as we go.

Thumbnails are just an 'OK' compromise right now, we yet have to find a good balance.

Very nice! Camera bookmarks for example! :)
    Except one thing for me:
In Editor(F11) / Material Editor, it used to be possible to create a material with a flat color but not anymore.

    [EDIT]
But, I found another way and it's fine.
