Hello, and I sense you know your way around world editor a bit better than I do. I'm looking at your instructions above, and based on the pic I've included (F11/material editor/Garfield Heights) ... I'm not sure what to do with all this: 1. Where's the bin I'm supposed to click on? 2. Where's the no texture material label in the right hand column? I only see it on the ground itself. I think I'm confused, but on the right path and pretty close to following your advice and fixing this. Thank you.
Here's a link to a very short tutorial, feel free to share it. This is how you fix the material issues.
The editor that you're using in that picture is for materials on static models. You'll need the terrain painter (the paintbrush button to the left of the material editor), and delete the broken material. Edit: Damn, ninja'd in my own thread.
Cool! Thanks to you both. I appreciate it. ♫ "I went back to Ohio... but my city was gone..." ♫ -- Quite literally!
Eskim & Occam's Razer; Thank you very much. It worked quite easily. Looks a whole lot nicer, as there aren't too many things in nature that occur in bright orange! Also noticed a few orange "no texture" squares, poking up through the streets in both the northeast corner of town, and a few in the central neighborhood. Are these fixable in a similar fashion? Or no such luck, these require a tad more skill in actually adding something?
I Think The No Texture Was Generated By Other Mods,Try To Deactivate All Mods And Activate Only This,And Load Garfield Heights,And See,I Have This On Dry Rock Island Mod. I Have Only One Small No Texture.
Doing the fix caused my computer to blue screen multiple times. I disabled all mods (besides Garfield Heights) and it still does not work and BSOD's my laptop RTX 2060, i7-8750H, 32GB 2666 Mhz Ram. I have the game stored on a month old SSD so that shouldn't be the problem...
I'm actually looking for some help here. Not even my father could figure it out and he's been developing code for 25 years.
Occam's Razer updated Garfield Heights with a new update entry: Fixed Materials, New Sky Settings, etc. Read the rest of this update entry...
You Edited The Map? If Yes The Map Will Be Full With No Texture,How To Fix? Go To Documents/BeamNG.Drive/Levels And Remove Folder Called "garfieldHeights" This Worked For Me.
