Thats a really flat argument.
There would be nothing wrong with a military grade offroader which simple job is to conquer heavy terrain.
It doesn´t even have to be a troop carrier.. It easily could be material transport or even a military ambulance which is a good example of a military vehicle.

 

perhaps it will have wheel pressure adjustment, in real time

Yeah these things are pretty dope.
We have a pretty prominent guy here in Germany in the Westerwald who has contracts with with the U.S Army.
He gets their surplus n stuff.
he restores all sorts of US military vehicles like HUMVEES, REOs and stuff.
He got a TV show here too thats where i got my thing for these vehicles they are really awesome!

In general, I noticed that Germans and Dutch have a love affair with American cars, especially the old ones. I was in the Netherlands for a year and the town I lived in had plenty of them, from classic Cadillacs, F150s, Stingrays and Jap-style Fox bodies to modern RAM Pick-Ups and even some 90s C1500s, one of which was a Stepside, and some Navigators! The first American car I saw was a C3 Corvette Stingray opening the taps just after the roundabout and it was the first time I ever heard a V8 from up close!

 

Yes especially East Germany where i grew up (i live in West Germany now) they have a strong affiliation for american made motor vehicles!
I guess it has something to do with our soviet past since after World War 2 when Germany was divided.
Guess you want what you can´t have.

 

Yes, one of my teachers in the University was from East Germany and, in a conversation of ours, she traced this American-mania down to Soviet hypocrisy. You wanted some kind of methadone after all that disappointment.
On the upside though, East Germany is very strong now. It's got factories from BMW and Porsche (with the famous Fahrzentrum) and even the football team of Leipzig is quite a powerful one in Bundesliga (at least that's what I heard a couple of years ago).

Now, coming back to speculation: could an armored version of the new truck be made? I'd like to see it!

 

An armored version would be quite nice so we have another heavy brick to smash into other cars without falling apart itself!

 

Maybe I would finally be able to live up to my name in game.

As far as i know these HUMVEE ambulance upfits are quite rare to get today.
It seems there where not that many issued.

I don't really like the idea of a driver model. That could cause issues with ESRB down the road. The game might be moved from Everyone to Teen or Mature.

 

The M997 FLA (field litter ambulance) is still actually pretty common. Every unit in Fort Bragg, NC got their old units replaced with the 2019 A3 models. I think the problem is that units run them to the ground, half of our trucks weren't even running when they were replaced. I do dream of owning one and turning it into a camper, the patient compartment comes with heating and AC.

Yeah, thats what i hear they do with them too.
They are very sought after for camper conversion.

Hopefully thats the case, the devs might get a lot of our questions answered if the viewers are being as speculative as they always are

 

I really hope there are some silver-tongued blokes who can jam the one or another useful answer out of the devs...
