Every AI: Keep revving engine until it dies of overheating or the clutch breaking Me, fleeing them: Why would you do that sir. Are you ok? AI Police: Alright I'm gonna arrest you through a wall now
ETK looks like a great candidate for a European truck make of all sizes, from Pick-Ups to Cargovans/Minivans to Cabover Lorries. They already make diesel engines able to be part of the smaller sized trucks (Pick-Ups and Cargovans/Minivans), so I'd easily imagine them to also make a Cabover Lorry with a turbocharged 4000Nm, 15.6l I6 beast of a diesel engine (and the appropriate 16-speed automatic transmission to boot)!
Nah, nothing like 2 years ago, i remember it was fr incredible the amount of stuff being talked here. 2 pages a day is not "going crazy"
I firmly believe this new V8 could end up on both cars because it certainly can increase content variety within the ETK brand, which is always great news in my book. Apart from that though, this engine is more than capable of providing spirited performance to the 800-Series (which I also hope gets a Sedan body) and it can also represent the current industry practice of sharing engines across the entire model range. Plus, for some further differentiation, this engine can also have a somewhat tamer version (with a tamer factory ECU, as this is a modern practice too) combined with the 8-Speed with the Heavy-Duty Torque Converter, for making the ttSport variants, leaving the wilder version, with the wilder factory ECU, to be combined with the 8-Speed DCT and make the ttSport+ variants. In a few words, the "+" can truly mean the most powerful variant instead of the AWD system it means now (which is a bit confusing, since the current ttSport and ttSport+ variants have exactly the same 350hp/480Nm turbocharged I6).
Perhaps a detuned version, and certainly as a swap or very limited production car. But I feel it would be weird for there to be a run-of-the-mill factory spec 800-Series with the top spec K-Series engine since it would let the lightest configs (like a 828) step on the toes of what might be their flagship performance car. I'd be pretty happy to see it as a in house or third party tuning company offering though. ETK really needs an in-universe AMG equivelant.
Damn i missed my 500th message Anyways, What about Brigsby? I noticed that's how the bodykit used on the I-Series TTSport Evolution is called, could this become the name of an eventual AMG-like tuning division? Or does this mean something else? Maybe the eventual V8 ETKs could be Brigsby editions
I'd also love to use the hotlap ai correctly so they'll actually acknowledge me instead of ramming me from behind every corner
Well, we also have Turbo Rabbit, which is Rocket Bunny, so that could disprove or prove your theory. Maybe Brigsby is just a more civilized widebody kit maker.
Turbo Rabbit is also official, so it proves my theory. On the other hand, though, this isn't even a theory since it's a fact.
Here's the updated spreadsheet, again the estimated date is probably too far away as the devs quite reduced the time between updates recently. So I would expect something between first and 17 April.
