Update Speculation thread

Nahh I mean like this, assuming theres a stretch and normal limo.
Photo will not upload, its a 75 Pontiac Catalina Limo. Like if there is a 6 door limo and a stretch limo, it would be cool to have the 6 door in the traffic.

 

Depending on the region "limo" is just a luxurious taxi, opposed to a "stretch limo", which can be found in various lengths depending on the coach builder. A "short limo" could refer to a LWB but not stretched car, as the USDM Panther Platform cars came in several wheelbase options (Ford and Lincoln both had SWB and LWB which I believe were unique to each other)

 

I am dying for this update. Hope we get at least one refresh.

 

Updated my post with the limo teaser. The other day I put some recent dev comments in there, leaving those bold for now. Also added the new mod repository, thanks to @Josh94 for the reminder

 

I am hoping way too much for more simplified traffic cars.

 

The Grand Marshal limo is a cool addition but I wonder if we will get an armoured limo config, considering what we got for the MD in 0.36
Maybe even with the presidential "Beast".

One thing I'd definitely love to see is a redesign to UI gauges, like with the radial menu. It's about time.

 

The limo might look something like this. "This is the grand marshal small pack mod"

 

I think its longer. Seems like people forgot the limo textures are in the common folder, meaning at least 1 more car will have a limo version.

 

I can imagine a limo version of the Bluebuck, or even the I-Series (Mercedes-Benz made a limo version of the W124, and, here in Brazil, some companies made limo versions of the Volkswagen Santana/Passat B2 and the Chevrolet Monza/Opel Ascona C, and all these cars had unibody construction).

Also, the Grand Marshal Limousine would probably look more similar to AR162B's Grand Marshal Limo.

 

I imagine it will have more detail. Lets hope there's another teaser tomorrow.

 

I was thinking MAYBE just MAYBE its in the common folder ( the limo files ) as they did not want us to find its the Grand marshal ( GM ) Off topic, WELL played if the Grand marshal ( GM ) is a play on general motors,

ANYWAY what if it was them for now keeping it secret So we did not Find the Grand marshal is getting work done.

maybe they doing this limo PLUS more Luxury Van verisons! maybe not a limo van but some kinda Poor mans limo, As seen with the black merc van,

However stretch limo vans do exist

 

Honestly I think it will be the ETK I as another limo.

 

If the files are in the common folder, there could be a D-Series/Roamer based limousine eventually

 

Im thinking a roamer or etk I limo too.

 

maybe a pessimistic take here, but I dont think its a refresh/ remaster, but just a new limo/ wagon configs. The details, that is, the triangle shaped orange reflector on the headlights and the door handle looks EXACTLY the same as the current version of it. Usually these details are changed, even for just a little, but noticible, in refreshes/ remasters

 

Yeah, especially the low detail keyhole in the door handle seems to remain unchanged.

Edit: On the other hand I believe the interior even in swb variants may still get some upgrades. Some of the present textures and details would look a bit out of place against the shiny, new limo features.

 

maybe this update will finally have a bluebuck remaster or something

Idk in my time its around 1 to 3 when they upload it. Its 1:30 so still time.
