Looks quite close to Renault D (French medium size truck), at least in terms of a grille, which has various cab options and bed options, perhaps even based on Renault Premium too (at least in concept, based on previous teasers).

 

i'm hoping to see a cab suspension system in this one. It is so satisfactory to see the truck moving and shit

 

I’ll say I have mixed feelings about Cherrier if that’s really the brand that the truck will be under. For one thing, it looks like this would be the oldest Cherrier in the game if it really becomes that, but on the other hand, we also just got a Cherrier. I’m not complaining too much, a new vehicle is a new vehicle after all, but I’d love to see either a new brand, or another existing brand get some love.

doubt its cherrier. the 2 visible badges seem to say -n(?)eron, while the center badge seems to be an U, maybe Ü since there's a considerably umlaut looking dot above it, which according to Wikipedia is used in Hungarian (shoutout my hungarian bros ), Estonian, Turkish, and well, German.

Totally agree. I see a lot of talk about Cherrier, but I don’t think so. I’m simply saying it’d be a bit weird to get two cherriers in a row. I the two most likely options are ETK, or a new German/swedish brand (I’m personally rooting for a new Swedish brand. That’s something Beam is sorely lacking).

I felt the same way around the release of the Hirochi equipment. A significant amount of the past updates had been hirochi-centered, and I was hoping there would be some new brand love soon. I don’t know why so many people are convinced it will be a Cherrier. I get it’s a possiblity, but it doesn’t make much sense in my eyes. Same deal with Wentward and Gavril. I sound like a broken record here, but I just can’t see the EU truck being from an American brand.

We've only received a new vehicle from the same brand back-to-back three times - all three of those were before 0.8, and two of those three instances were due to vehicles being paired. The only "true" back-to-back vehicle releases from the same brand would be the K-Series (0.5.6) and the I-Series (0.6) - and that was over 10 years ago.

So, I don't think this will be a Cherrier. Could it happen? Sure - it'd make sense, since it's an existing European brand. But I think the devs would want to either:

-Make this an ETK or ETK-affiliated brand (which would make more sense, as ETK hasn't had a new vehicle in over 10 years)
-Make this an Autobello or Autobello-affiliated brand (their last vehicle was four years ago, and they don't really have anything modern (except for the facelifted Stambecco))
-Or come up with a new brand that's largely unaffiliated from the others (I hope this is the case, and I also hope it's from a new nation)

A "somewhat"-plausible alternative is to put the new Euro semi with Civetta or a Civetta-affiliated brand. Pegaso made both trucks and high end sports/super cars in the 1950s, and Lamborghini made tractors before building supercars, so there's some precedent for it. I highly doubt this will happen, but it would be funny.

As @LanciaDelta04 said, Koheron is an Esperanto word (they said it meant "cohesion", but I got "coherence" from Google Translate - I'm inclined to agree with Delta, but I think either definition could work). While there are quite a few Esperanto speakers in Germany, there's a higher percentage of Esperanto speakers in the Nordic nations (particularly Denmark, Iceland and Finland). And there's a broad usage of the language across Central Europe. So, I don't think we can narrow down the nation based on the vehicle's name yet.

 

Name is either the Cherrier Percheron or new brand Koheron IMO.

Grilled looks REALLY Cherrier esk, though it would be disappointing to not have a new brand. But, the devs recently seem to be filling out brands with little amounts of models, like making the heavy machinery Hirochi branded.

Plus, theres still technically only one Cherrier car, as the Ardente, Tograc and Vivace are all just different body styles sold as separate models, they all even are in the same files.

Vehicle content:

• Euro Truck:
  • Teaser 1: This post shows a wide variety of frames for some sort of cab over truck. There's a lot of interesting configs here, certainly stuff you'd never see in the US
  • Teaser 2: Shows the rear fender of a relatively modern Euro style truck with a caption that confirms it is not a US market truck
  • Teaser 3: Shows a wire mesh type view of a cab over truck, neither modern nor classic. Probably somewhere in the 1990-2010 range judging from the styling. Can also see the last few letters of the name which does not resemble any brand names in game.
    • @gugu star made a sketch here which incorporates elements we see of the teaser. While I normally would not include a fan made extrapolation like that, it is the best way to see the body lines anyone has posted that was not AI produced that I have seen so far
  • It's worth noting that a Euro truck really would need some Euro market trailers...

• Portable Car Crusher: Seen in the August 18th 2026 Teaser Tuesday

• More simplified traffic vehicles: The Hopper and smaller MD-series version(s) may get simplified traffic versions.
  • Simplified police cars: These were experimented with and deemed not feasible

• Grand Marshall refresh: It was remastered but not to the same scope that current remasters cover, so sooner or later the team should be returning to this one. It's worth noting that the GM has been getting improvements and content in recent updates, but still needs some texture work

• Wentward Remaster: @DriftinCovet1987 reminded me that @Torg3 found a bike rack and mudflaps in the files, and many years ago there was a UV map for an articulated bus. It isn't uncommon for files like that to end up in development limbo for years, but the bus certainly has some content left on the table and needs some sprucing up and clearly someone on the team was thinking about it at some point
• Other remasters: The following vehicles have yet to be fully remastered and have not been mentioned above: ETK I-Series, Gavril Barstow, Bruckell Moonhawk, Ibishu Hopper, Ibishu Pessima mod.1988 and the SBR
  • A lot of vehicles in New on the Horizon seem to have texture improvements, though much of this may be down to the overall graphics improvements

Map content:

• Research: There has been talk of the devs doing some research on stuff for improved map development

Gameplay:

• Rally mode: General improvements in each update are expected
• Career mode: Check out the dedicated thread for discussing the WIP career mode and look at some of the posts from staff members to get a better idea of what the team has been thinking for career mode

Everything Else:

• Tire physics improvements: The team had a great video, the link can be found on the official forum post. No sign of this coming soon but the team clearly has been putting a lot of work into it
• Mod repository: Shown here by TDev back in June 2025
• Wheel tie-downs: @hey_big found some in the game files
• General graphics improvements:
  • 8/25/2026 Teaser Tuesday shows a few comparison shots to show off upcoming upscalers and anti-aliasing options

  • Per TDev here: Mod repository will not be in the initial PS5 release but may come later.
  • XBox port is not in the immediate projections but not ruled out for the future

Turkish would be interesting, especially since there are some manufacturers that have partnered with other brands (like Ford) to make a truck. however yeah at this current time it's not really known.
and basically unlikely. turkey has nothing to do with lore or anything (yet)

 

Tbh it doesnt make sense to have a turkish brand, they aren’t known for cars.
