Norwegian License Plate Mega Pack 1.3.7

Introduction:
With this mod, I wanted to create detailed and accurate license plates used in Norway. This licence plate pack adds all Norwegian license plates since 1971, except temporary sticker license plates. Three generations of plates, all with their own custom and accurate fonts are included. Many new license plate sizes are also included in the mod.

Standard: White with black license plates
These plates are used by most vehicles in Norway.
You'll find these on cars, trucks buses, emergency vehicles, taxis, motorcycles, tractors, trailers and more. Use these plates on most vehicles.

Van: Green with black license plates
Cargo vans use green licence plates. You will find these plates on vans, pickups and SUVs with with a max gross weight of 3500kg, no rear seats and a separated cargo area that's at least 140cm long, 90cm wide and 105cm tall. These vehicles are taxed less than cars. If the vehicle has a gross weight rating over 3500kg, it will be registered as a truck instead and use white license plates. These plates can for example be used on the Gavril H15 and H25 cargo vans and the Gavril D series without rear seats.

Offroad: Black with yellow license plates
Black and yellow plates are used by vehicles that are registered, but not allowed on public roads. These vehicles do not pay registration taxes. Common on some construction vehicles that must be registered, airport vehicles and cars on Svalbard.
Vehicles with these license plates are not allowed to drive on public roads, but may be used on privately owned roads. Use these license plates on vehicles that will not travel on public roads.

Diplomat: Blue with yellow license plates
Foreign embassies and consular services use these plates. First two digits represents country's embassy or delegation. These plates will always start with the letters CD. More info can be found here.

Motorsports: Black with white license plates
These plates are motorsport plates, generally used by rally cars. Exempt from road tax, but not allowed to drive on public roads except to and from races and training. These plates are only available in small sizes, not the regular EU format or US format.
Use these plates if you have a rally car.

Trade/Dealer: Red and white license plates
Dealerships are the main users of these plates. They are temporary plates used on unregistered cars, generally for test drives. It is generally forbidden to transport passengers or goods with cars that use these plates. Only available in small size.
Use these plates for unregistered cars.

Export/tourist: White with black, red edges
These license plates are used on vehicles that are exported out of Norway. They are very uncommon. First digit represents issuing county.

Military: Yellow with black license plates
The Norwegian military uses these yellow license plates on their vehicles.
First digit represents vehicles type, but no official code list is available.
1 appears to be for cross-country vehicles
5 appears to be used for civilian type vehicles
9 appears to be used for tanks and other armoured vehicles
Military vehicles are registered with FE letter combination, but letters are not displayed on military plates. If sold to civilians, the vehicle will receive standard plates starting with letters FE.

Military Test: Yellow with red license plates
These rare military license plates are used by Test og utvikling (Test and Development) and Forsvarsmuseet (Museum of Defence).
Not much information is found about these plates. First two numerals seem to always be 0.

Letter and number combinations:
For most plates, the first two letters defines the region the vehicle was registered in. If a vehicle is moved from one area to another, the plate will not change. License plates follow the vehicle for its entire life, unless a plate is lost or the owner re-registers the car. A new combination will be given then. Older vehicles may use newer plates and combinations, but vehicles newer than 1971 cannot be given older combinations. Owners can choose to use available letter combinations from any region, but has no say in numbers used.

All fonts support all letters in the Latin, Norwegian, Swedish, German and Sami alphabet.
Some letters are not used on regular plates, but may still be found on personal plates. I, M, O, Q, Æ, Ø and Å may only be used on personal plates. W was not available on the 2002 to 2006 plate generation due to space restraints. G is only used on GA plates (reserved for vehicles powered by natural gas).
Electric vehicles use EL, EK, EV, EB, EC, ED, EE or EF, but may also opt to use standard letter combinations instead.

Personal license plates were introduced in 2017, and may consist of up to 7 characters (6 characters on small plates) including any spaces. Any numeral and letters from the Norwegian alphabet may be used. The plates may not follow any existing plate formats (AA 12345 or others). Personal license plates follow the vehicle's owner, not the vehicle itself.

This mod offers semi-realistic plate generation. Plates will be generated with letter combinations that was used on cars during the time the plates were in use. Some letter combinations have been used for several decades, and may also generate a number that is realistically too high or too low number for the year of the car, but the letter combinations will always be accurate.
The plates will only generate with a AA 12345 format for regular plates, not AA 1234 format used on trailers and motorcycles. Dealer plates (AAA 12), diplomat plates (CD 12345) and export plates (12345) will generate fitting combinations as well.
The mod contains over 150 different letter combinations that can be generated, as well as 10 registration stickers.

Registration Stickers:
Registration stickers were used between 1994 and 2012 on cars, vans, trucks and buses. Motorcycles, trailers, tractors and other vehicles with only one license plate did not use registration stickers. The stickers were fitted on both license plates.
This mod includes ten registration stickers that can be used on any plate that could have them in real life. Registration stickers have a chance to be generated on the 1971-2001 and the 2002-2006 license plates. As stickers were phased out in 2012, I made the decision to not have them generate on the 2006-present plates. This was done to avoid them being on cars that are too new for them, but you can still add them manually to these plates.
Registration stickers are not mandatory to be displayed after 2012 and new ones are not issued.

Stickers will only display on plates that required them in real life. If a sticker does not show, either select a different plate model or design. If a plate does not support stickers, a regular space is added instead. Personal plates were introduced in 2017 and never had registration stickers.


Plate sizes:
This mod of course supports the regular EU and US plate sizes, but also includes a few new sizes. These new plate models support all vanilla cars, but also several modded cars.
Five new plates are added: 340x210mm, 303x85mm, 220x152mm, 470x110mm and 330x110mm. Note that not all plate models are available for all cars or bumpers.
US plate size was introduced in 2020, so this plate will only be available with the 2006-present plate design. Selecting an older design will work too, but the plate will always display the new design.
Note that certain license plate designs do not support all plate sizes.
1971 to 2001 and military designs can also be used on plates from AdamPLGames' Polish license plate pack.

Normally, cars will use the 520x110mm (standard EU plates) or 340x210 if needed. Smaller plates (Including US size) may normally only be used if there's not room for a large plate, which is common for US imports and some super cars.
Some vehicle types will only use small plates, like tractors, motorcycles, motorised equipment and rally cars. Trade/dealer plates are also only available in a small size
